This design is regarded as the industry standard when referring to freezer spacers. It provides 5-way vertical/horizontal air flow and has excellent cold conductivity, thereby reducing the average freezing time by up to 17% when compared to wood. A 6-foot high area can accommodate 25 wood spacers, 36 aluminum spacers, or 400 standard design PEFS. This design is available in both medium duty and heavy duty, depending upon the desired weight capacity. The normal size for this design is 40" x 48", but different sizes are available upon request. All of our spacers are available with the CureSlip option.

Cure Slip Option:

CureSlip is an optional treatment on all our PEFS designed to minimize box slippage during pallet transport. It was developed by SFB in conjunction with leading food processors and refrigerated warehouses.
